How to Make Lavender Vodka and Extract

Do you know how to make lavender vodka and extract?

Lavender extract is a great way to taste summer! Follow the recipe below!

Lavender Extract Recipe

Lavender flowers and leaves
*You can use fresh from your garden or purchase dried
100 proof vodka
Jar with lid

Directions
Pick your buds and leaves into a jar, filling it about half full. This doesn't need to be perfect. We aren't scientists here. (Well.... I might be a mad scientist, the jury is still out there.)

Pour vodka over it to the top of the jar.
Shake daily for 2 weeks.

In 2 weeks, you'll know whether it is strong enough by the scent.
If it isn't strong enough for you, strain the lavender out and pick some more, adding the same vodka back into the jar, and shake for another 2 weeks.

Ideas for  Lavender Extract Use

Martini's

Spiked Lavender Lemonade

How do you plan to use lavender vodka and extract?

Enjoy!
